![]() He gives us the example of the town to which He sent three Messengers. If they really had any sincerity or belief in the unseen, they would have followed his guidance. Allah responds to this in Surah Ya Sin by addressing the heart of the matter: the legitimacy of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ as a Messenger, and how disbelievers lie to themselves about why they don’t believe in him.Īllah introduces this topic by showing us how the opponents of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ have completely shut themselves off from using reason. In Surah al-Fatir, He also mentions that the disbelievers claim that they would believe in a message from Allah only if they had a real Messenger sent to them. In the surahs leading up to Surah Ya Sin, Allah gives us extensive proofs and signs of the Day of Judgment.
